Eastern Hills Baptist Church in Montgomery, AL seeks a Pastor/Ministerial staff member to develop and oversee ministry to preschoolers, children, and students (grades 7-12). This leader will work with the ministerial staff, recruit and train volunteers, and engage families in outreach, discipleship, and fellowship.

The role includes coordinating Sunday School, planning programs and events, budgeting with the church committees, and supporting preaching, teaching, and counseling opportunities

Responsabilidades

• Student Ministry: develop, implement, evaluate programs and events for outreach, discipleship, fellowship, and ministry.
• Lead Student Advisory Committee with ministerial staff.
• Provide guidance to students on spiritual, personal, and family matters; refer to counselors as needed.
• Build relationships with parents/guardians of students.
• Children’s Ministry: oversee development and evaluation of programs for outreach, discipleship, fellowship, and ministry.
• Discipleship: plan and promote Sunday School; coordinate discipleship, ministries, and evangelism strategies.
• Work with Nominating Committee to recruit and train leaders in areas of responsibility.
• Plan and promote special events for the ministries.
• Assist pastor in preaching, teaching, and counseling opportunities.
• Coordinate programs/events with church calendar and other ministries.
• Maintain regular office hours and participate in staff meetings and retreats.
• Support and encourage staff members in their areas of ministry.
• Accomplish other duties as assigned.
