Reporting to the Dean and working closely with the Dean’s direct reports and students, the Student Experience Coordinator will advance the College’s execution of creating a holistic student experience for the college’s undergraduate students on the Moscow campus. This will entail successfully developing and executing purposeful student-centered events, creating an avenue to capture the student’s voice regularly, and developing content for platforms to showcase promote events and the success of our students.
Duties
- Plan, coordinate, and execute student-centered events and programming that enhance the undergraduate student experience and support students’ personal and professional development.
- Build relationships with students and student organizations and collaborate with faculty, staff, alumni, employers, and campus partners to deliver meaningful student experiences.
- Lead student-facing marketing and communications, including social media, digital content, and promotion of student programs, events, opportunities, and accomplishments.
- Capture and share student experiences and success stories to strengthen student connection and showcase the College’s student experience.
- Administer student surveys and other assessment activities to gather student feedback, internship and career outcomes, and measures of student success.
- Analyze and report student engagement, feedback, and outcomes data to inform College decision-making and continuous improvement.
- One year of work experience in student support services, clientele support services or organizational learning
- Demonstrated familiarity with social media platforms and experience creating engaging digital content
Required Education
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four year institution
Required Other
- Ability to work nonstandard business hours including selected evenings and weekends
Additional Preferred
- Experience in event planning and coordination
- Ability to manage time effectively while balancing multiple priorities
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and contribute strategic ideas
- Marketing and content creation experience
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions
- Ability to lift, carry or otherwise move up to 25 pounds
- Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for long periods of time
