Job summary

Lindenwood University is seeking a Community Engagement Assistant, Student Employee (Federal Work Study) to help plan and coordinate service, social, educational, and cultural events for campus and local communities.

The role is open to undergraduates packaged with Federal Work Study through Student Financial Services. You will assist with budgeting, venue coordination, guest lists, and on-site event support while promoting the university's culture of service excellence.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled student at Lindenwood University with Federal Work Study packaging.
• Good academic and financial standing with the University.
• FWS funding through SFS.

Responsibilities

• Supports the mission of the University and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellence.
• Models, supports, and upholds the University's values.
• Plans and coordinates social, educational, cultural, and service events.
• Assists with event planning, scheduling, budgeting, venue setup, catering, and health/safety compliance.
• Creates promotional materials, invitations, and guest lists.
• Provides on-site event presence and resolves issues as they arise.
• Researches venues and vendors to ensure competitive pricing.
