Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience giving oral presentations.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan and organize student and community programs and events, city and organizational fairs, festivals, campus activities and meetings.
• Assist in developing and implementing strategies to promote AVC attendance and higher education institutions.
• Collaborate on recruitment and retention efforts including high school orientations and welcome week activities.
• Coordinate dissemination of college program information and financial aid processes to diverse populations.
• Serve as a liaison between prospective students, current students and college departments.
• Engage with community groups, schools and other higher education institutions as a representative across outreach efforts.
• Plan and conduct student, campus and community events.
• Maintain a database of prospective students and community contacts; provide follow-up and prepare public relations materials.
