Job summary

Maryland Institute College of Art is seeking an Office Assistant for the Office of Student Engagement (OSE). The role supports daily operations, designs and facilitates programming, and helps with social media and events to engage the student body.

The position requires current undergraduate or graduate student status at MICA, a passion to serve the community, and strong organizational and communication skills. Expect about 10 hours per week across the semester.

Qualifications

• Current undergraduate or graduate student enrolled at the Maryland Institute College of Art.
• A desire to serve the MICA community.
• Graphic design and social media management experience preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Administrative task experience preferred.
• Event planning/programming experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staff OSE front desk.
• Design and facilitate programming for the Office of Student Engagement (OSE).
• Maintain OSE social media accounts.
