Job summary

Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) seeks a student employee to support Global Education staff with graphic design, event communications and social media management. The role requires collaboration, accuracy, and discretion, serving international students with diverse needs.

Ideal candidates are Sophomores or higher who can work on campus, familiar with F1 resources and proficient in graphic design tools.

Qualifications

• Sophomore or higher in good conduct and academic standing.
• Familiarity with international student resources (F1).
• Proficient in graphic design programs.
• Knowledge of MICA campus resources and international student resources.

Responsibilities

• Create posters, flyers and other communication for events sponsored by International Education.
• Maintain social media accounts for Global Education.
• Provide information and referrals for international students on topics like banks, campus resources and healthcare.
• Collect copy/print jobs at Postal & Print and post event information.
• Assist with workshop organization.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
