Job summary

Saint Leo University is seeking a Student Assistant in the Division of Student Affairs to support Student Engagement & Leadership. You will help with event planning, lounge platform updates, social media content, and family programming while delivering excellent customer service to students, families, faculty, and staff on campus.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Experience or coursework in event planning, marketing, or public relations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide general support to the Department of Student Engagement & Leadership.
• Welcome students, families, faculty, staff, and community members with excellent customer service.
• Assist with event planning, setup, execution, and teardown for programs and activities.
• Manage and update the Lounge Platform to promote engagement and track participation.
• Handle email management, scheduling, and communications coordination.
• Create and manage social media content to promote initiatives and events.
• Develop marketing materials and promotional content using branding guidelines.
• Facilitate student engagement activities and liaise between students and staff.
• Oversee bulletin boards, digital displays, and other promotional materials.
• Attend events during evenings and weekends as assigned.
• Assist with administrative and programmatic projects and other duties as directed.
