Ball State University is seeking a Student Engagement Coordinator to support online student services, manage learner interactions, and provide administrative assistance to the Learner Experience Team in the Division of Online and Strategic Learning. The role emphasizes effective communication, technology-driven engagement, and collaboration across teams.

The position involves coordinating onboarding for online students, maintaining records in the CRM, and assisting with dual credit projects

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent.
• Over one year of related office and customer service experience.
• Bachelor's degree in office management or related field.
• Excellent written, telephone, and other verbal communication skills.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite and a customer relationship management tool.
• Additional years of administrative, supervision, and customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a front-line contact for online students by answering phones, email, and chat.
• Update records in the CRM and assist with student recruitment databases.
• Supervise student employees and manage front-office coverage.
• Create and analyze reports impacting the Learner Experience team.
• Assist with onboarding of new online students.
• Support hiring processes and coordinate events with campus partners.
• Maintain confidential staff and student materials.
• Participate in division activities to promote best practices.
• Maintain regular attendance.
