Job summary

The Greater Miami Jewish Federation's Jewish Community Relations Council seeks an energetic Student Engagement Coordinator to inspire and support Jewish and civic leaders among high school and college students.

You will coordinate education initiatives, recruit and train student presenters, and help strengthen partnerships with schools and community organizations in a hybrid Miami environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
• Two to three years of relevant experience in Jewish communal service, education, nonprofit leadership or related field.
• Knowledge of Jewish life, traditions, history and contemporary issues affecting Jewish communities.
• Ability to connect with and mentor high school and college students.
• Willingness to collaborate with a diverse range of professionals and volunteers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day operations of educational initiatives serving high school and college students.
• Recruit, train and support student presenters and volunteers.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with schools, educators and community organizations.
• Build relationships with Jewish college students throughout Miami-Dade County.
• Monitor trends and best practices in education and civic engagement.
