Responsibilities
- Welcome participants and assist with simulator reservations and scheduling.
- Set up and operate golf simulator equipment before each session.
- Provide basic instruction on simulator features, game modes, and scoring.
- Troubleshoot minor technical issues and report equipment concerns to staff.
- Ensure the simulator area is clean, organized, and safe for all users.
- Assist with leagues, tournaments, instructional clinics, and special events.
- Monitor participant usage and encourage proper equipment handling.
- Maintain inventory of golf clubs, balls, tees, and other accessories.
- Collect participation data and assist with usage reports. Collects waivers.
- Promote simulator programs and recreational activities to residents, members, or guests.
- Provide exceptional customer service and foster an enjoyable experience for all participants.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Recreation or Wellness team.
Qualifications
- Interest in golf, recreation, sports management, hospitality, or customer service.
- Past experience with recreational sports programming preferred but not required.
- Basic knowledge of golf rules and etiquette preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable learning new technology and software systems.
- Reliable, organized, and able to work independently.
- Positive attitude and willingness to assist participants of varying skill levels.
Hours of Position
- Flexible schedule arranged with the supervisor around the student's class schedule; hours may vary based on department needs and approved events.
