Job summary

Harvest Church in St. Louis is seeking a part-time Student Director to lead our Student Ministry (6th-12th grade), mobilize volunteers, and disciple our students. The role requires Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, with a roughly 24 hours per week schedule and a starting pay of $20–$22 per hour.

Flexibility exists beyond core commitments. There are also events, retreats, and camps throughout the year that the Student Director would need to plan and lead.

Qualifications

• Able to prepare and deliver biblically sound, applicable messages.
• Strong relational skills to connect students with Jesus.
• Willing to collaborate with staff and volunteers.
• Take ownership and grow the ministry as opportunities arise.

Harvest Church is a 10 year old church plant in St. Louis that seeks to glorify God through the fulfillment of the Great Commission. We are a vertical church that is Gospel centered and mission focused. We have a growing Student Ministry (6th-12th Grade), and are looking for a part-time Student Director to help lead this ministry, mobilize volunteers, and disciple our students.

The position will require Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, but otherwise is fairly flexible in terms of scheduling. The primary focus will be teaching and leading the Wednesday night Student gathering. There are also a number events, retreats and camps throughout the year that the Student Director would need to plan and lead. The position would require approximately 24 hours a week, and would start at $20-22 per hour.

• Have a passion for working with students and be able to help them grow in and live out their faith.
• Have a good handle on God's Word and be able to prepare and deliver strong, engaging, biblical, and applicational messages.
• Thrive at building relationships with students, and helping them connect to Jesus.
• Be a team player and work well with other church staff and volunteers to humbly and faithfully carry out ministry.
• Be willing to take ownership of the ministry and seek to grow and build it as the Lord allows.
