Job summary

Ithaca College invites applications for the Student Coordinator for Digital Communications and Social Media in the Office of Religious and Spiritual Life. This role supports promotion of ORSL events, services, and Mull er Chapel offerings, focusing on Intercom announcements, Engage platform, and Instagram, with event promotion and social media engagement.

You will create publicity materials, coordinate with campus partners, greet visitors, and provide office support while working up to ten hours

Qualifications

• Experience with graphic design software (Illustrator/Photoshop/Canva).
• Experience with social media platforms, especially Instagram, and engagement strategies.
• Weekly availability including evenings and weekends as needed.
• Enrollment as a student at Ithaca College in good standing and GPA 2.5+.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and collaborate with campus partners.

Responsibilities

• Promote ORSL events via Engage and campus partners and email.
• Develop a semester social media plan and educational postings.
• Promote ORSL events on ORSL platforms and other groups' accounts.
• Create and update publicity materials for ORSL events.
• Coordinate with IC departments and community partners to cross-promote.
