Job summary

Browardschools is seeking an Information Management Technician (Elementary / Middle School) to ensure accurate student data for state and district reports by gathering and inputting student information, course details, and schedules into the district database.

The role requires following prescribed procedures, maintaining confidentiality, and generating reports from the district system. Light administrative duties and interaction with staff, students, and parents are part of the job.

Qualifications

• Standard high school diploma or GED completed.
• At least two years of related experience in the last five years.
• Familiarity with clerical practices and office equipment.
• Completion of Broward County Information Management Technician Training within 90 days.
• Computer skills appropriate to the job.

Responsibilities

• Enter student and course data into the district student database system.
• Create and maintain schedules and course dictionaries.
• Ensure accuracy of data for State FTE reporting.
• Generate and review reports from district systems.
• Maintain confidential files for auditing and comply with policies.
