General Purpose
Student Custodians needed at multiple locations. Student Custodians work in various settings and are responsible for the general upkeep of a building. Job duties may include cleaning floors, windows, carpets, and walls; vacuuming, taking out the trash, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining all entrances and common areas. Custodians frequently work after a building has closed for the day to ensure that rooms and offices are clean and ready for the next day.
Student custodians work under the direction of the head custodian, assistant head custodian, or the building custodian, depending on the staffing. They are expected to complete their duties with minimal supervision.
Eligibility Requirements:
The only exception to the eligibility requirements is for students that are part of the Post High program. They can remain in a student position until they graduate from that program. Fingerprints are required for anyone 18 years of age or older.
