Qualifications

• Must be between the ages of 14 and 18
• Must be actively enrolled in an educational program
• May continue employment after turning 18 only if still enrolled and not yet graduated from high school
• Upon high school graduation, students are required to apply for an adult custodial position within the district
• Employment will end on the graduation date if an adult position is not obtained
• Individuals who have already graduated from high school are not eligible for Student Custodian positions
• Fingerprints are required for anyone 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Cleaning floors, windows, carpets and walls
• Vacuuming and taking out the trash
• Cleaning bathrooms and maintaining entrances and common areas
• Custodians work after hours to ensure rooms are clean for the next day
