Job summary

Sylvania is looking for a JRMS Student Council Advisor for the 2026-2027 school year. The position is responsible for conducting weekly meetings from September through June and fostering student leadership through various enrichment opportunities.

The advisor will manage meeting logistics and ensure all participants are safely picked up by their parents or guardians. This role comes with a stipend of $2,498, paid in two installments during the school year.

• Availability for student leadership and enrichment opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Determine meeting dates and times.
• Sponsor after-school meetings.
• Ensure students are picked up by guardians.
• Conduct reflection meeting on club activities.

Responsibilities:

• Determination of meeting date and times.
• Availability to sponsor before or after school meetings.
• A strong interest in fostering student leadership and providing students with enrichment opportunities.
• If applicable, the advisor may not leave until all participants have been picked up by parent/guardian.
• One time meeting for the purpose of reflection on club activities will be scheduled.

Time Requirement:Conduct weekly meetings September through June

Stipend:$2,498.

½ paid in the first paycheck in December, ½ paid in the first paycheck in June
