Job summary

Aurora Health Care seeks a dedicated Nurse Aide to support RNs with daily patient care in Milwaukee. You will assist with bathing, feeding, positioning, and mobility, and document vital signs in EMR under supervision. Emphasis on infection prevention and age-appropriate care in a hospital setting.

Eligible students enrolled in high school may qualify for a structured role; BLS certification may be required within 45 days as part of the team.

Qualifications

• Provide routine patient care under RN supervision.
• Record vital signs and document in EMR.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care (bathing, feeding, ambulation).
• Document blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, intake/output, and weights.
• Assist in admission, transfer and discharge processes under RN supervision.
• Assist with patient transport, bed setup and linen changes.
• Manage stock for nursing area and keep equipment clean.
• Support age-specific patient needs and monitoring as directed.
