Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• NH Para I or Para II certification; district can assist after hire.
• Experience with students with disabilities preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and reliability.
• Willing to obtain CPI certification or safety training.

Responsibilities

• Support students individually and in small groups under certified staff.
• Reinforce learning objectives across reading, math, writing, and life skills.
• Implement accommodations and modifications as directed by IEPs.
• Assist with behavioral and social-emotional support in settings.
• Supervise students in classrooms, hallways, lunch, recess, arrival and dismissal, and field trips.
• Monitor and document progress toward IEP goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, case managers, and related service providers.
• Maintain confidentiality and a safe classroom environment.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development as appropriate.
