Job summary

Adams and Associates is seeking a dedicated Safety & Security Associate to protect the Center, ensuring a safe environment for students and staff. The role involves supervising the student population, enforcing security procedures, and reporting incidents with accuracy and timeliness.

The candidate will participate in routine inspections, assist with dormitory oversight, and provide support across departments as needed, while adhering to federal regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid in-state driver’s license and ability to meet Company insurability requirements.
• Ability to perform physical activities including sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping, and crouching.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds and/or assess a load and request assistance when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Follows all integrity guidelines and procedures and ensures no manipulation of student data.
• Assists Safety & Security Department in maintaining a safe and secure living, learning, and working environment for students and staff.
• Investigates accidents and incidents under management direction, prepares required reports, and recommends corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
• Conducts routine safety inspections and assessments of Center equipment, facilities, and grounds to identify potential safety and security hazards.
• Maintains Center security through visitor control, access monitoring, and enforcement of established security procedures.
