Job Details

Working Title: Student Center Operations Specialist

Work Location: Lexington, KY

Salary Range: $17.41-27.87/hour

Type of Position: Staff

Position Time Status: Full-Time

Required Education: BA

Required Related Experience: 2 yr

Required License/Registration/Certification: None

Physical Requirements: Lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to and possibly over 25 lbs. Standing or walking carrying objects up to 25 lbs; Repetitive motion. Work is performed in assigned areas and may occasionally include exposure to weather and elements. Standing for long periods of time may be required.

Shift: 2 Shifts Available

• Sunday-Wednesday 2:00 PM to 1:00 AM

Responsibilities

The Student Center Operations Specialist supports evening and weekend operations of the Gatton Student Center and The 90 by maintaining a visible presence, assisting with building closures, and supervising special events. It involves monitoring facility maintenance, managing access control systems, and reporting security issues. The position also includes guest service desk coverage when needed, assisting with student staff scheduling, and managing lost and found process. Additional responsibilities include resolving onsite issues, documenting daily activities and incidents, submitting accurate reports, and completing administrative tasks as assigned.
