The position reports to the Associate Director of Student Case Management and Referral Coordination and works closely with Housing, CSU Health Network, Disability Center, and other campus partners.

Qualifications

• Masters Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Student Affairs, or related field.
• Strong commitment to, and experience in, working with people from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience with mental health concerns, crisis situations and related support services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for students in crisis or with complex needs.
• Assist academic planning through collaborations with Advisers/Support Coordinators and departments.
• Consult with CSU Health Network, Disability Center, SLiCE, Title IX Programs, and Student Resolution Center.
• Develop connections with campus offices to coordinate services and referrals.
• Counsel, consult, and advise students and refer to resources as needed.
• Coordinate and track referrals to ensure continuity of care within CSU units.
• Communicate with families and emergency contacts about safety and return-to-campus plans.
• Maintain accurate case management records.
