Qualifications

• GCDF certificate required.
• Bachelor's degree in a related area from a regionally accredited college or university.
• At least two years of experience working with adolescents in the public school setting is desired.
• Proficiency with Internet and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist schools in promoting quality career development for students.
• Assist counselors and students in identifying and accessing career information and resources.
• Provide educators, parents, and students with information on career and technology education programs offered in the district.
• Support students in exploring career clusters and selecting an academic focus within a cluster of study.
• Assist with selection, administration, and evaluation of career interest inventories.
• Coordinate community resources representing occupations in career development activities for parents, teachers, and students.
• Support usage of computer assisted career guidance systems.
• Work cooperatively and respectfully with others.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
