Success Education Colleges (SEC) is seeking a Career Advisor to guide students and graduates in job search strategies, externships, and employment placement. You will build employer relationships, develop leads, and support record keeping.

The role emphasizes resume coaching, interview techniques, networking, and collaboration with faculty to ensure students are prepared for employment upon externship completion. SEC values equal opportunity and provides accommodations as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Minimum of three years of administrative and customer service experience.
• Previous experience in Career Services, job development, staffing and recruitment, medical sales or related fields preferred.
• Strong data tracking and reporting skills.
• Excellent English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one employment assistance to students and graduates.
• Advise on externship, employment, and placement processes.
• Generate employer database through cold calling, mailing, and site visits.
• Meet weekly placement goals and 90-day employment verification.
• Establish extern site opportunities and relationships with employers.
• Assist with resume writing, interview techniques, and networking.
• Maintain accurate student, graduate, and employment records.
• Coordinate with faculty on student placement challenges.
