Kettering University in Flint, MI invites applications for a Career Services Coordinator to support student success through co-op programs and employer engagement.

You will advise students on resumes, interview skills, and job search strategies; build and maintain employer partnerships; coordinate on-campus events and co-op activities; travel for recruitment; and use CRM data to drive improvements while delivering outstanding service to students and partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with two to three years of progressive experience in higher education or related fields.
• Experience working with diverse constituencies and willingness to travel.
• Public speaking or presentations experience.
• Proficient with PC and software applications.
• Must possess a current valid unrestricted driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Advise and coach students on resumes, cover letters, interview skills, and job search techniques; leverage CRM for service excellence.
• Monitor co-op experiences with ongoing contact, reviews, evaluations, and employer site visits.
• Market and sell co-op program to employers; develop co-op and full-time job descriptions; travel for recruitment.
• Coordinate on-campus professional development, employment fairs, and employer presentations; facilitate co-op reflection sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned; maintain communication with the Kettering community.
