Job summary

University of Minnesota seeks a full-time Coordinator to support non-clinical case management for Care Team services at the Twin Cities campus. The role involves direct student support, resource referrals, and collaboration with multiple university departments to develop action plans for distressed students.

Responsibilities include data review with the CSAS Director, annual budget support, and creating confidential case files in Maxient, with a focus on safety, wellbeing, and coordinated campus

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree plus 4+ years of relevant experience or a master’s degree plus 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience with diversity, equity, and inclusion work or diverse populations.
• Demonstrated experience with conflict management or conduct processes.
• Demonstrated experience with people in crisis or distress.
• Strong verbal, written, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide follow-up support to faculty, staff, and student reporters involving students in distress.
• Conduct outreach and develop detailed action plans or interventions for students in distress.
• Provide referrals to support services within the University and community agencies.
• Collaborate with coordinators and directors on case assignments.
• Review and analyze data for Care and Student Advocacy Services with the Director.
• Prepare for annual budget requests and manage meetings or hearing schedules.
• Create and maintain confidential case files using Maxient.
• Assist with marketing and outreach to student groups and campus partners.
• Participate in threat assessments and de-escalation strategies as needed.
