Job summary

Purdue University in Hammond is looking for a Student - Grounds Departmental Aide to assist with the upkeep of campus grounds. This position includes various tasks such as trash removal, mowing, and basic maintenance under the supervision of Facilities Services Managers.

Students will work Monday to Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with responsibilities to ensure a clean and professional environment. A valid driver's license is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be a current student and able to work outdoor conditions.
• Valid driver’s license preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with setup and teardown for special events.
• Collect and remove trash across campus.
• Perform basic upkeep of grounds including mowing and trimming.
