Polk County Public Schools is looking for a Bus Driver Intern in Bartow, FL. This role entails transporting students safely to school and extracurricular activities, following traffic regulations, and maintaining the bus. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and completion of relevant training programs. Formación

• Completion of high school or GED preferred.
• Successful completion of the Department of Education's Bus Driver Training Program.
• Must pass an annual physical examination.

Responsabilidades

• Transports students to and from school following a preplanned route.
• Drives the bus in compliance with traffic regulations.
• Assumes responsibility for the safety of school children.

Conocimientos

Knowledge of traffic and highway safety rules

Ability to operate a bus safely

Bilingual/biliterate (preferred)

Educación

Completion of high school or GED

Completion of first aid and defensive driving courses

Completion of the Department of Education's Bus Driver Training Program
