Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Level One IVP Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Maintain a safe driving record.
• Pass the District driving test.

Responsibilities

• Transport students safely to and from school, on field trips and to and from other special events.
• Advise students and other passengers of behavior requirements for safety.
• Assess incidents, complaints, accidents and/or potential emergency situations for resolution.
• Assist students and other passengers for safe ingress and egress from buses including emergency situations.
• Attend meetings and trainings to maintain skills and meet bus certificate requirements.
• Administer first aid, if required.
• Inspect assigned vehicles to ensure safe operation.
• Maintain vehicles for safety, appearance and sanitation.
• Log daily mileage accurately.
• Supervise students on the bus and report misconduct.
