Qualifications

• First Aid training to be completed within three months of employment.
• Ability to create positive relations with students, staff and families.
• Willingness to collaborate with Transportation and Special Education teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist the bus driver in maintaining good student conduct on the bus.
• Help young or disabled students getting on and off the bus.
• Secure car seats, wheelchairs, and other items to prevent injury.
• Ensure orderly boarding and alighting by students.
• Attend workshops related to student transportation as requested.
• Collect and hand over personal items left on the bus to the school secretary.
• Perform other duties as requested by the bus driver or Transportation Supervisor.
