Job summary

School Tours of America is seeking energetic Student Boarding Assistants to help groups navigate two busy Chicago airports, O'Hare and Midway. You will welcome groups, collect boarding passes, manage line flow, and coordinate gate changes while keeping spirits high.

This seasonal, on-site role offers a $25/hour rate, parking and mileage reimbursement, and requires punctual, high-energy leadership to keep students organized and safe in a dynamic airport environment.

Qualifications

• Must be comfortable in fast-paced airport environments.
• Excellent communication and crowd management skills.
• Able to adapt to varying group sizes and flight schedules.

Responsibilities

• Welcome the Group: Greet excited student groups at designated terminal rally points.
• Paperwork: Retrieve boarding passes from airline prior to group arrival.
• Line Command: Keep groups organized and moving smoothly through the gate sequence.
• Gate Coordination: Keep group leaders informed about changes in flight times.
• Bring the Hype: Keep spirits high and ease pre-flight jitters for nervous first-time flyers!
• High-Energy Leaders: Anyone with massive group-management charisma!
• Chicago Locals: Easy access to O'Hare or Midway airports.
• Cool Under Pressure: Can handle loud, chaotic, and high-energy airport environments with a big grin.
• Reliable & Prompt: Planes don't wait, so arriving on time is non-negotiable.
