Job summary

Ingenium Schools is seeking a Behavior Intervention Implementation Specialist to support students with special needs in the classroom and assist the special education team. The role emphasizes data-driven, behavioral approaches to promote learning and progress.

The BII Specialist will work under the guidance of the special education teacher, provide direct 1:1 support, implement behavior plans, and help maintain a safe, inclusive environment across activities and routines.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma or GED.
• Required: Associate's Degree, 48 college credits, or CBEST.
• 2–4 years of experience with students in special education.
• Experience with children of varied ages is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to students in classroom under supervision.
• Assist special education teacher in implementing IEP goals.
• Collect data on student behavior and academics as required.
• Assist in testing accommodations and extended time when needed.
• Support students in developing communication abilities.
