Job summary

Bath County Middle School in Owingsville, KY is seeking an Attendance Clerk to support daily attendance, phone outreach to families, and state reporting. The role reports to the Principal and requires clerical skills, a high school diploma or equivalent, and understanding of STI systems.

The position involves handling attendance data,Entering student and guardian information, and assisting with end-of-year processes. Salary is paid hourly with a full-time schedule and 200 contract days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Passing Score on the Ky. Paraprofessional Test OR an Associate's Degree OR 60 hours of College Credit.
• Clerical skills are required.
• Additional qualifications as the Superintendent or Board may find appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Run daily attendance lists and monitor student attendance.
• Call homes to check on students who are absent.
• Prepare monthly state reports PA-2/3 and principal reports.
• Administer re-admittance slips to students and manage attendance records.
• Maintain STI entries, backups, and end-of-year rollover.
• Attend STI trainings and meetings as required.
• Locate students who cannot be accounted for and handle attendance referrals.
