Qualifications

• 60 hours of college credit or an Associate's Degree or a passing score on the Kentucky Paraprofessional Test.
• Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tutor individuals or small groups, reinforcing and implementing instruction as directed by the teacher.
• Assist in preparing and organizing lessons and materials as directed by the teacher.
• Monitor and report student progress and behavior per approved procedures.
• Provide clerical support and maintain classroom records and attendance.
• Assist in supervising students in labs, lunchrooms and during field trips.
• Communicate with teachers regarding programs and materials to meet student needs.
