Job summary

SupportFinity™ is seeking an Athletic Academic Advisor at San José State University to enhance student success. This role involves academic coaching and monitoring of student-athletes’ progress. The advisor will liaise with coaches and support the development of academic retention programs.

Applicants should have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and three years of experience in student services. Knowledge of NCAA requirements is essential. A comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• Three years of progressively responsible professional student services work experience.
• Strong background in academic support for student-athletes.
• Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic academic coaching and support to students.
• Develop and monitor academic progress systems.
• Liaise with coaching staff to ensure student-athletes meet eligibility requirements.

Skills

Education
