Job summary

Qualifications

• 4 - 7 years of related experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working directly with student athletes.
• Demonstrated knowledge of counseling, learning, and human development theories.
• Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations, especially concerning APP and APR.

Responsibilities

• Provide the full range of assessment, counseling, and advice to targeted students.
• Oversee the tutoring program, including hiring, ongoing training, and supervision of tutoring staff.
• Monitor and enhance progress toward a degree, graduation, and continuing eligibility under NCAA regulations.
• Promote an environment of academic excellence and student success and retention.

Education

Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.

Master's degree.
