Job summary

The University of Georgia invites applications for a Student Assistant—VPI (2) on the Griffin Campus. This 0.50 FTE, non-exempt position performs field and maintenance work, facilities and shop maintenance, and grounds duties as described.

• Maintain grounds including garden beds, mowing, weeds and edging; campus mail and package distribution.

• Assist with changing HVAC filters.
• Replacement of light bulbs.
• Assist with post-construction clean-up of labs and offices.
• Assist with maintenance technicians with light duty facility work such as carpentry, painting HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other duties as assigned. Clean fleet vehicles and golf carts.
• Maintenance shop organization.
• Assist with campus mail and package distribution.
