TRIO Student Support Services is looking for a friendly and motivated Student Assistant to join our team! As the first point of contact for our office, you'll help create a welcoming environment for students by greeting visitors, answering phones, and assisting with various office tasks. Your role will be essential in supporting the success of TRIO students — many of whom are first-generation college students or come from underrepresented backgrounds. If you’re organized, detail-oriented, a great communicator who enjoys helping others, and ready to make a positive impact, we’d love to have you on board!
A student assistant will carry out administrative and technical tasks requested by a supervisor. Depending on the area the student assistant is employed in, they may assist and mentor other students or provide support throughout the campus in various forms.
High School diploma or equivalent. Enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours at Wichita State University.

Ability to remain in a stationary position. Ability to operate a computer and other office equipment including but not limited to phone, printers, copiers, and calculators. Ability to communicate with others and accurately exchange information.
