Student Assistant (ID: 110761) for Fall 2026 Communications/Public Relations

Reporting to the Director of Public Information, the Student Assistant will provide graphic design to support agency communication and initiatives.

• Design flyers, posters, and invitations for different events across the agency (public and internal facing).
• Design static social media graphics with direction from the social team.
• Create newsletters based on existing templates.
• Update existing publications/brochures based on requests.
• Create new business cards and name tags for different employees based on the established template upon request.
• Update, print, and put in folders retirement certificates monthly.
• Print and cut large scale posters to be hung in the office (bulletin boards monthly in particular).
• Spruce up reports from different divisions (add purple borders, make sure text is consistent, add photos).
• Do all of this while adhering to NYS branding guidelines (specific colors, fonts, etc.).

The Student Assistant must always maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
