The University of Central Missouri (UCM) seeks a Student Worker Graphic Design & Communications Specialist for the International Student Services (ISS) Office to shape visual storytelling on campus. The role focuses on creating promotional flyers for partner schools, social media visuals, and interviewing students to highlight campus life.

You will design materials, translate interviews, and collaborate with a team while helping with data collection and follow-up.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a student at the University of Central Missouri (UCM).
• Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Marketing, or Communications preferred but not required.
• Strong portfolio in graphic design and experience with Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience creating social media content and conducting/interviewing students.

Responsibilities

Education:

• Currently enrolled as a student at the University of Central Missouri.
• Pursuing a degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, Marketing, or Communications preferred but not required

Experience:

• Strong background or portfolio in Graphic Design (proficiency with tools like Canva, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or InDesign).
• Experience in social media content creation and active student engagement/interviewing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
• High level of professionalism and customer service mindset.

Working Hours and Days:

• Monday through Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM
• (20 hours a week)
