This position will accurately register all patients/visitors seen at the health center, verify eligibility status, demographic information and enter in insurance information for billing purposes. This position ensures that all forms are completed, provides health information to all clinics, departments, and any authorized users. This position is responsible for scanning health information into the electronic health record, answering the department and health center phones, properly releasing health information according to state and federal laws, and maintains confidentiality of protected health information. Other duties would include data entry of immunization data and retrieving archived health information.
