Position Summary

The role of a golf course maintenance employee is to assist with the daily maintenance and preparation of the golf course in order to provide the best possible playing conditions to the patrons of the UGA Golf Course.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Mowing greens, raking bunkers, general blowing, string trimming, changing cups, etc.
• Weekend, holiday, and occasional adverse weather work.
• Work a minimum of 3 hours for a given day.

Education and Experience

Previous golf course or comparable experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Ability to understand and follow specific oral and written instructions.
• Willing to perform manual labor for extended periods, often under adverse weather conditions.

Physical Demands

Willing to work in adverse weather conditions.
