The role of the carts/range staff is to ensure clean golf carts are available to customers at all times, that customers have ample golf balls to play at the range, and that both the cart barn and driving range building are properly secured each day. When required to operate a cash register, employees must follow the appropriate policies and procedures.
• Maintain a ready supply of clean golf carts, stocked with a scorecard, pencil, and sand bottles. • Greet customers with a smile, offer assistance, and direct them as needed. • Assist customers with loading and securing golf bags on carts. • Use the driving range picker to collect golf balls throughout the shift. • Keep the playing area clean by picking up loose baskets, trash, and excess balls from the chipping green. • Secure the cart barn and driving range building before leaving each day. • Operate the cash register in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Ability to understand and follow specific oral and written instructions. Willing to perform manual labor for extended periods, often under adverse weather conditions.
