A leading college is seeking a dedicated Student Assistant for Student Activities to assist with various duties, including event management, promoting student engagement, and clerical tasks. Special Instructions To Applicants:Student status is required to be eligible for student positions. Must be enrolled in a minimum of six hours during a long semester. Maintain a GPA of 2.0 or higher. Limited to working no more than 20 hours per week. Job Summary:Must be in good academic standing and maintaining satisfactory academic progress. Must maintain a 2.0 GPA or better. Must be enrolled at least a half-time basis of at least six hours during the Fall/Spring semesters, or at least three semester hours during each of the summer sessions, for a total of six semester hours. Must be a citizen of the United States, a U.S. national or permanent resident.
Preferred Qualifications:Typing, copy machine, excellent phone etiquette, knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Power Point is a plus. Must have excellent customer service skills, a great can-do attitude and Seahawk spirit. Must be reliable and able to follow instructions. This is a valuable work experience and makes an excellent addition for future employment reference.
Salary:8.50 hourly
Work Hours:Students can work at up to 20 hours a week but, they cannot exceed 20 hours a week.
