  • Document Management: Purge outdated files according to citywide retention policies and/or prepare documents for digital archiving.
  • Confidentiality: Handle highly sensitive labor contracts, grievances, and personnel data with the utmost discretion.
  • Employee Services Support: Assist the Employee Services Manager and the wider team with basic administrative tasks, scanning, and data entry as needed.

Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented, motivated Student Assistant who is passionate about pursuing a career in Human Resources. In this role, you will work within the Employee Services team and report directly to the Employee Services Manager. You will gain hands‑on experience by spearheading a major overhaul of our Labor Relations files and physical file room. This project is critical to maintaining legal compliance and improving administrative efficiency, making it an excellent resume‑builder for anyone majoring in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Education: Must be a currently enrolled student, preferably majoring in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
