Job Description & Duties
  • Report to the Supervising Fraud Investigator I or designee; work with investigators on active insurance fraud investigations.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze official and unofficial documents related to assigned cases.
  • Perform statistical and data collection on criminal cases using a variety of computerized databases.
  • Retrieve claim files from insurance carriers.
  • Prepare investigative charts and draft correspondence and reports.
  • Support investigators as directed.

Special Requirements

  • Students may work up to a maximum of 1,500 hours within a 12‑month period from initial appointment. Hourly compensation is based on hours worked.
  • Current enrollment in college is required; proof of enrollment must be submitted with the application.
  • Fingerprinting and background check required.
