Job summary

St. Charles Community College is seeking a Student Ambassador to tell SCC’s story and connect prospective students with the campus culture. You will gain leadership, communication, and professional development experience while representing SCC to the community.

You’ll lead campus tours and events, welcome visitors, and work with faculty and staff to support student recruitment efforts. A flexible schedule including weekends and evenings is required.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Current Enrollment - Be a currently enrolled student at St. Charles Community College; maintain enrollment of a minimum of 6 credit hours for the fall & spring semester.
• Academic Standing - Maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 throughout the employment period.
• Communication Skills - via phone, email, and social media with prospective students.
• Attitude & Professionalism - An outgoing, positive, and professional demeanor, with a genuine desire to help others and work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Dependability - Demonstrated reliability, initiative, and the ability to follow through and complete tasks independently.
• Flexibility - Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to support various events.
• Attending training sessions and team meetings.
