Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in a field that provides knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts that can be applied to student development.
• Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to speak to both small and large groups.
• Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and implement programs.
• Experience building relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized assistance to students and alumni in education and career goals, including resumes and interview strategies.
• Coordinate at least one special project focused on student outreach and training to special student populations.
• Facilitate training and skill development workshops and presentations to classes and student organizations.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge about career fields and industries.
• Assist in coordinating special events, programs, and career fairs.
