  • Experience in a school setting is helpful.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to a strength-based and/or youth development perspective.

Responsibilities

  • Provide case management and wraparound support for 50+ students.
  • Provide individual, family and group counseling.
  • Provide crisis intervention as needed.
  • Engage in family outreach and involvement.
  • Develop and implement planning for students on caseload.
  • Develop and implement groups/workshops aligned with student needs.
  • Assist students in attending school regularly and connect with resources.
  • Support post-secondary planning, financial aid and college or vocational trips.
  • Able to collaborate with GSS and DOE team members.
  • Generate data for statistical reports and ensure paperwork is completed.
