Job summary

Proviso Township High Schools District 209 is seeking an Activity Sponsor to organize and supervise student clubs in alignment with district goals. You will mentor students, liaise with staff and administration, and promote safe, inclusive extracurricular experiences.

This stipend position is non-tenure, extra-duty, and contingent on enrollment and funding, with compliance to district policies and state laws.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to guide students.
• Ability to work with students in a school setting.
• Willingness to take responsibility for duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide active supervision for club activities and events.
• Ensure off-campus activities are approved and paperwork completed.
• Maintain safety, compliance, and appropriate conduct.
• Prepare students for participation and define expectations.
• Coordinate logistics and facility usage with school staff.
• Promote inclusive, meaningful activities aligned with the club's mission.
