Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• Four years of progressive experience in student accounts or related financial function, including supervision.
• Strong understanding of student financial operations, account reconciliation, and tax reporting.
• Ability to coach and develop staff and lead through change.

Responsibilities

• Oversee student accounts receivable operations and ensure accurate, timely processing.
• Coordinate tuition, fees, charges, credits, payments, waivers and scholarships in SIS.
• Review and adjust tuition schedules and related configurations in the SIS.
• Supervise the Assistant Bursar and develop staff with clear expectations and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and maintain strong internal controls.
• Prepare and review reconciliations between SIS, GL, and financial records.
